Librarians Meet on the Big Island

Librarians from across the Hawaiian Islands held their annual Hawaiʻi Library Association ( conference at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo November 11 and 12, 2016. Tom’s new publisher Bess Press ( was among the publishers, software companies and others displaying their works at the conference.

Libraries and schools use many Bess Press titles in their collections and programs, and the publisher’s vibrant marketing representative Dimpna Figuracion brought a wide variety of their books for them to look at and consider.
